> Love on Mission is the Great Commission map and learning hub from Love on The World. It helps Christians understand global mission, pray for nations, make disciples, discover city outreach, and take practical action.

## Nation profiles

One crawlable page per nation at `/nations/<slug>/`, generated from the same dataset the Prayer Atlas uses. Each carries population, Christian and evangelical percentage, people-group counts, Gospel-access status, what is going well, what is hard, and four prayer points.

Gospel-access categories used on those pages: **reached** (an established church can reach the rest of the nation itself), **less-reached** (a church exists but is small relative to the population, or identity outruns active faith), **unreached** (no indigenous believing community large enough to evangelise the rest without outside help; commonly under 2% evangelical), **frontier** (fewer than 1 in 1,000 follow Jesus and there is no indigenous movement). These describe access to the Gospel, not the worth of a people or the sincerity of anyone's faith.

- Frontier people groups: 3,214 — fewer than 1 in 1,000 follow Jesus
- Population within frontier groups: ~1.9 billion
- Share of the world's Christians living in the Global South: 17.6% in 1900 → ~69% today → ~78% projected by 2050

## Definitions

- **Unreached people group**: an ethnic or cultural group with no indigenous community of believing Christians large enough to evangelise the rest of the group without outside help (commonly measured as under 2% evangelical).
- **Frontier people group**: the least-reached category — fewer than 1 in 1,000 follow Jesus and there is no indigenous Gospel movement at all.
- **Without Gospel access**: no nearby church, no Scripture in the heart language, no believing friend. It describes access, not the value or dignity of any people.
- **10/40 Window**: the band between 10° and 40° north latitude across North Africa, the Middle East, and South and Central Asia, containing most of the world's unreached peoples.
- **Oikos**: the Greek word for household — a person's web of close relationships (usually 8–15 people), the primary route the Gospel travelled in the New Testament.
- **Discipleship multiplication**: making disciples who make disciples, rather than only adding converts.
