A quiet invitation
Stand with Daniel & Katie
Twelve years ago we didn't launch a ministry. We just started showing up — walking downtown with coffee and one question: can we pray with you for anything? Everything since has come out of that.
"And some fell into good soil, and grew up and produced a crop a hundred times as great." — Luke 8:8
What God has done
Love on Hamilton began in 2014 with the two of us walking downtown, offering to pray with whoever would let us. No stage, no strategy, no budget — just a conviction that the people everyone walks past are the people Jesus walks toward.
We have watched God do things we could never have engineered. Lives healed. Chains of addiction broken. People delivered. Baptisms and salvations as ordinary testimony rather than rare events. To God be all the glory — none of it was ours to manufacture.
What began as a small outreach became a movement: fifty and more believers going out weekly in Hamilton, then Love on The World carrying the same heart into other cities, then Overflow in 2022 — a Sunday evening service where the Holy Spirit was given full permission to move. And then a partnership with e3 Canada, whose whole focus is equipping believers to evangelise and establish multiplying churches.
The Jesus Festival is the clearest picture of where this is going: a free citywide gathering where thousands come to worship and hear about Jesus, with no cover charge and no catch. We believe Canada is on the edge of the greatest revival it has ever seen — not because of a mood, but because we keep meeting people who are genuinely hungry.
What twelve years taught us
Faithfulness beats strategy
We have never once out-planned God. The seasons that produced the most fruit were the seasons we simply kept showing up when it was cold, inconvenient, and nobody was watching.
Practical love opens spiritual doors
Warm socks in February. A meal. A coat. A ride. Presence when someone is at their lowest. Meeting a real need earns the right to speak about a deeper one — and that order matters.
Nobody does this alone
Every single story of a life changed came through a body of people praying, giving, and showing up. Not one of them was a solo effort. That is not humility for its own sake — it is simply what happened.
Three ways to stand with us
All three matter, and the first one costs nothing.
Pray for us
Genuinely the most valuable thing anyone gives us. Pray for protection over our family, for boldness on the streets, and for the people we meet to encounter Jesus and not just kindness.
Come out with us
Outreach happens weekly, and newcomers are welcome. You do not need training, a script, or a title — only a willingness to show up and love people.
Find a weekly outreachPartner monthly
Monthly partners are what let us plan, go further, and say yes quickly. It is the difference between hoping we can and knowing we can. We pray for our partners by name, daily.
Become a monthly partnerHow partnership works
Partnership is handled through e3 Canada, in collaboration with I Am Second. e3 Canada is an established mission organisation whose focus is equipping believers to evangelise and to establish multiplying, life-changing churches — the same thing we have given our lives to.
That means your giving goes through their secure system rather than to us directly, with their accountability and receipting behind it. You can give once or monthly, and you can stop at any time.
Questions people ask
Who are Daniel and Katie Ziedins?
Daniel and Katie Ziedins have served in ministry for over twelve years, beginning with the launch of Love on Hamilton in 2014 — weekly street outreach in Hamilton, Ontario, sharing the Gospel and caring practically for the city's homeless community. That work grew into Love on The World, the Overflow service, and the annual Jesus Festival. They serve in collaboration with e3 Canada and I Am Second.
How does partnering with Daniel and Katie work?
Partnership is handled through e3 Canada, an established mission organisation, in collaboration with I Am Second. Giving goes through e3 Canada's secure system with their accountability and receipting, either as a one-time gift or monthly, and can be stopped at any time.
What does partnership actually make possible?
Monthly partnership is what allows them to plan ahead, reach further, and say yes quickly when an opportunity opens. It sustains weekly outreach in Hamilton, the equipping and discipling of believers to share their faith, and citywide gatherings like the Jesus Festival.
Is there a way to help that is not financial?
Yes, and they would say it is the most valuable: prayer. Beyond that, joining a weekly outreach team in person costs nothing and needs no training — only willingness. Love on Hamilton goes out every week and welcomes newcomers.
If you have read this far, you are probably not a spectator by nature. Whatever form it takes — a prayer at 5am, a Tuesday night on the street, or a monthly gift — thank you for standing with us. All for God's glory.
